Month Impossible: Day Three

Third day of the incredible challenges, and progress is scant. I’ve posted each day of course, so that’s something. Just by telling you that I’m falling behind in other things, I can keep up with NaBloPoMo. Sweet!

I wrote a bit for NaNoWriMo and am now up to 2070 words. I’d like to get to 4000 by the time I go to sleep. that might seem easy, but right now I’m headed out the door to the Creative TreeHouse for Haunted TreeHouse. I can’t stay long there, because a friend is having his long-awaited house warming party tonight.

But eventually tonight I’ll get home, to write a few thousand words and, with luck, draw at least one more drawing for DrawMo.

Tonight is also National Drunken Writing Night, and that’s one challenge I’m not going to tackle this year. I need to be in good form tomorrow, to continue my catch-up work and put in a little work on client web projects as well. But I look forward to tracking the progress of others — if I can find any. The first Saturday in November is the traditional date, but the usual suspects seem quiet on this front. Still, If I find anyone, I’ll post a link. And if you find anyone, please leave a comment.

Off to the party. I’m dressed as Harry Potter’s long-lost cousin, by the way. Lame costume? You bet! But it’s what I could do on the spur of the moment.

  1. It wasn’t a lame costume! I say with full confidence that you had the spiffiest wand in the whole building. And bonus points for the cutest familiar…

  2. Rachel, thank you for your kind words. I can also say with confidence that you had by far the scariest neck. I hadn’t quite good enough a look at it at the party to appreciate, but the pics on your website are actually scary. Excellent costume!
