I’m bundled up at home, fighting off some kind of illness that makes it hard to stand long and to think.
This is a darn shame because it means I’m going to miss this terrific event, organized by the Pittsburgh Technology Council and sponsored by Google:
We’re inviting women who work in Pittsburgh’s technology community to join us for drinks, discussion and the opportunity to provide direction for the Council’s newest network – PghTech Women.
Meet with other women from all areas of Pittsburgh’s technology community for casual networking as well as a chance to offer ideas and suggestions for the PghTech Women Network.
The PghTech Women Network is sponsored by Google.

Thanks for the posting Cynthia! We are excited about the launch of this network. For those who cannot make it to the event, please check out our survey where we are gathering important feedback for the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s women network. I’ve attached a link below. Hope you feel better soon!

Why must every single evening event I want to go to coincide with the day and time I have to take my daughter to her ballet class?
::beats head on desk repeatedly::
Feel better soon, Cynthia!
Cynthia — while it was a damn shame and the turnout was great, there is MUCH more which lies ahead. The turnout was great but the feedback was outstanding. We have a ton of work to do collating all the ideas (flip chart comments to 4 questions / probes). Get well.
