OK. I’m having dinner at our new Steak ‘n Shake — and getting a big plate of their shoestring fries — to celebrate.
Not that I really need a reason to order fries…
I am about half Irish and half Polish. This means two things: I have incredibly pale skin that burns if I look at a picture of the sun; and I adore potatoes in all forms. I never, never need a reason to order fries.
Also, have you had the housemade potato chips at the Monroe Hotel in Butler? Very fine.
